September sees two of the world’s biggest events overlap on the Côte d’Azur, with the Monaco Yacht Show and Les Voiles de St Tropez showing off the finest super yachts and sailing regattas. The Monaco Yacht Show, mid September 

The Monaco Yacht Show is the only place to admire, board and window-shop over 120 extraordinary one-off superyachts built by the world’s best shipyards. Forty new launches are unveiled in a world premiere for every edition.  Along the port, there are not only these 40 new editions being showcased, but also exhibits from 500 world leading luxury yachting companies – superyacht builders, yacht designers, luxury manufacturers and brokerage houses.

Les Voiles de St Tropez Sailing Regatta, end September 
St Tropez: This week sees the biggest event of the year in St Tropez. Every year at the end of September, Saint Tropez welcomes more than 300 sailing boats into its harbour for the Rolex Les Voiles de St Tropez yacht regatta. Overwhelmingly beautiful maxi-yachts sail into the harbour to race in one of the biggest regattas in the world. This week is an absolute highlight in the world yachting calendar, watching this amazing race and witnessing the finest examples of the most modern, and also the most traditional, sailing boats in the world is breathtaking.

Leopard III

For the past eight years the champion maxi-yacht captain and crew of Leopard III – regular champions of the races –have chosen to stay at Villa Tropez for the regatta week. Brigantin St Tropez cruises

During Les Voiles de St Tropez, the traditional Brigantin II tour boat has a morning and afternoon departure allowing at least two hours of navigation alongside these beautiful yachts. The price is approx 20EUR per person for the half-day event. Bookings in advance is essential to secure places.

Daily cruises: By far the most amazing way to discover the Côte d’Azur and Bay of St Tropez is from the sea. From February to November this is such a wonderful way to discover the beautiful village of St Tropez and surrounds. Sit back and relax aboard the Brigantin II, as the crew takes you on a memorable one-hour guided boat tour. During the cruise you will be shown the old village, the famous beaches and the spectacular millionaire’s bay. With full commentary in English; you will hear the history of St Tropez, see the houses and yachts of celebrities, and be bedazzled by all the glitz surrounding the bay. Sailing close to the coast, there are great photo opportunities.

Chartering the boat/crew:
 Brigantin II can be chartered out to groups or individuals on an hourly or day rate for anniversaries, marriages, cocktails or ferry services.
